This game is SOO much fun, for kids and adults. We’ve always enjoyed the adult version, bit since having kids haven’t played much. My 7yo picked this right up, and even my 5 yr old is starting to figure it out. She plays with an adult still but she’s starting to play on her own. What I like is kids that can’t read yet don’t have to be able to read the names of the cities, because they also have symbols the kids can match to see where their train routes are. It is challenging, and has the kids use critical thinking skills at an age appropriate level. The size of the board is perfect. The quality is top notch. I will say if you’ve never played before, it takes some time to read the rules and understand how to play (even as an adult) but I would say, just watch a YouTube video. Once you get it, it’s easy. Highly recommend!
This game is a hit! Easy to understand, quick to play, and keeps kids engaged without overwhelming them. My little explorers loved planning their train routes, and it’s fun for adults too.Great for family game nights, travel, or just a quick 15–30 minute session. Highly recommend for kids ages 6+ and anyone who loves trains and friendly competition!
Love this game!
Ticket to Ride is a fantastic board game that strikes a perfect balance between strategy and accessibility. Players build train routes across a beautifully designed map, collecting colored cards to claim tracks and complete destination tickets. The rules are simple, making it ideal for newcomers and not only. While luck with card draws can influence outcomes, smart route management often prevails. It’s a must-have for family game nights or casual gatherings, offering replayability and fun for 2-5 players. Highly recommended!
This game is perfect if you’ve got a younger kid who loves to play the bigger kid games, but can’t quite handle all the crazy rules. It was a fun game still for adults to play but simple enough that our youngest was still able to play and he even won the game
